We care for children from 3 months to 12 years of age. Our small group setting allows us to meet each child where they are developmentally. We also offer before and after care for school-aged children
Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm. We strive to provide consistency and structure while supporting the needs of working families.
Yes. Bright Beginnings Childcare is a licensed group family daycare and follows all New York State regulations for safety, health, and early childhood care. All staff members are CPR, AED & First Aid Certified.
Our program offers:

Throughout the week, children enjoy rotating enrichment activities that add variety and excitement to their learning experience, including:
• Art: Creative expression through painting, drawing, and hands-on projects
• STEM:Simple science experiments, building, and problem-solving activities
• Spanish Language: Age-appropriate exposure to Spanish through songs, words, and play
• Yoga & Movement:Gentle stretching, mindfulness, and body awareness to support focus and emotional regulation
These specials are included in our schedule to create a well-rounded learning experience for your child while keeping the day engaging and fun.

We model and incorporate these skills into daily routines, play, and interactions.
Yes! Outdoor play is an important part of our day. Children enjoy daily outdoor time whenever weather allows, supporting physical development, imaginative play, and emotional well-being.
Yes. We participate in the NYS CACFP, which means children receive nutritious, balanced meals and snacks daily. We also offer organic food options whenever possible.
We work closely with families to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions whenever possible. Please discuss your child’s specific needs with us during enrollment.
We use the Brightwheel app to share:
• Daily activity updates
• Photos and moments from the day
• Meals, naps, and learning highlights
• Direct messaging with caregivers
This keeps parents connected and informed in real time.
We use positive guidance techniques that focus on teaching, redirection, and emotional self-regulation. Our approach is gentle, respectful, and age-appropriate, helping children learn appropriate behaviors while feeling supported.
Your child’s safety is our top priority. We maintain:
• A secure, supervised environment
• Strict health and hygiene practices
• Regular safety training and drills
• Compliance with all NYS licensing requirements
As a group family daycare, we maintain small group sizes, allowing for individualized care, stronger relationships, and a calmer learning environment. We adhere to New York State childcare ratios, maintaining no more than 6 full-time children per teacher to ensure attentive, high-quality care.

Availability varies throughout the year. If a space is not immediately available, families may join our waitlist and will be contacted when an opening becomes available.
Families are provided with a welcome checklist during enrollment, which may include items such as extra clothing, diapers (if applicable), and comfort items for rest time.
Enrollment begins with a tour, followed by completing registration forms and submitting required documentation. We are happy to walk you through each step.
To support family scheduling, Bright Beginnings follows the West Babylon School District calendar for holidays and weather-related closures.
